Lucy & Steve married at the Vicarage Boutique Hotel in Nottingham - it was such a beautiful day. What a perfect venue for small & intimate weddings. We loved being a part of their day and getting to speak to some of their friends and family. It's honestly a privilege when we document a wedding - we get to see every little detail and learn so much about a couple in just one day. Hearing heartfelt messages to the couple during the speeches is amazing and it gives us all the feels! Easter weekend was not only a beautiful 4 day day weekend, but also the wedding of Ian and Laura! They married at Prestwold Hall and it was such a lovely day. Their wedding kicked off wedding season for us and it was beautifully sunny. Here are 2 images that we loved from their day. They spent a few moments before heading inside for dinner, to be together, relax, and just take a minute to breathe! I (Jade) didn't have this opportunity during my wedding day - and it's the only regret I have from my wedding photography. So I always love this part of the day and know it's something our Brides and Grooms will definitely appreciate when they look back on the day.
This weekend was so busy - but in a really nice way. It involved lots of eating and catching up with friends, fireworks and more eating! We managed to meet up with some lovely friends to capture their new little arrival too. We went to their home and captured the family in their natural surroundings. Changing nappies, watching a film, feeding and then a short walk/scoot outside. These are my (Jade) favourite type of family shoots. Very laid back, capturing normal, perhaps mundane moments that one day, will turn into such precious memories.
